Swift Skin and Wound Reduces Pressure Injury Prevalence by as much as 77%

A 128-bed facility introduced three initiatives to improve pressure injury prevention:

1. Quality assurance, performance improvement project and a root cause analysis conducted to improve the wound care program.
2. A digital wound care management solution was adopted to track wound management.
3. New accountability and performance role created within the organization: Skin Integrity Coordinator
